Free or reduced- price meals

In School Year 2025-26, all students will receive free breakfast and lunch at school if they choose to. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has provided money to do this for this school year through the State budget.

Although meals are free, we suggest completing an application, if you think you qualify. Why, you ask?

Students who are eligible for free or reduced meals may also be eligible for other benefits, such as fee reductions for other programs, discounts on utilities, etc.

Families must complete a new application each school year. If the family received assistance in the previous year, it may continue briefly into the new year, but without a new application the benefits could stop.  It can take up to 10 days to process an application. After the application has been processed, the family will receive a letter stating those benefits for which the family is eligible.
